Stargate: Universe goes the way of Firefly.

Oh NO ! The geniuses at Syfy channel have decided not to pick up SGU for a third season !

I understand that there are a certain group of hardcore SG:1 fans and "Atlantards" that did not support Stargate:Universe. I was the opposite, SG:1 was on the air for a very long time and I was a fan at the beginning because i thought the original Stargate film was great, but over time the show became so convoluted and stagnant I could no longer bare to watch it. That being said I haven't seen one episode of Stargate Atlantis simply because I was so tired of SG:1's trite antics and expected nothing different from the spin-off series.

Then there was Robert Carlyle and what I thought would be the revitalization of the Stargate franchise. A brilliantly produced show an ode to the original film and a testament to the art of modern science fiction. Also, Lou Diamond Phillips. I mean Come on they got La Bamba!

Now to only find out it will be only an ephemeral joy, well I am somewhat infuriated. All good things must come to an end. Only ten episodes left and then no more FTL, aliens, communication stones, Ming Na or Destiny. Oh well what can I do I'm no big shot corporate executive. I just like to watch TV shows and drift away from my own boring reality, I can't do anything to change the people at the Syfy channels minds.

But WAIT I will not let this show go softly into that sitcom graveyard!I will not be fireflyed again! "We're gonna get that show back on the air buddy!"-Troy Barnes (Donald Glover-"Community").They will rue the day!
